Marginally better than Sync Solver, maybe

Manual sync blaze with mac pro

Bought this because Sync solver (free) was not providing a useful auto rapid sync. This one does not really provide any better auto sync service either, but it is quicker.
I recognize that you cannot sync a locked phone to with HealthKit, so I have to wonder who leaves their phone unlocked enough for this to auto sync. I use my phone enough that the auto sync has plenty of time to kick in and does not. I manually sync in the morning and evening and find nothing has synced between. So, auto sync is not really doing its thing as I would expect. Maybe the app needs a forced sync that you can set to every hour, or a notification widget that says 'Press to sync.'
Compared to SyncSolver (free) it does seem more compete in what it pulls in from Fitbit, but SyncSolver also reads information back to Fitbit, which this does not. I have no idea how useful this is when Fitbit probably records everything it can handle now that they have removed Blood Pressure tracking.
My recommendation would be to try a free sync app before spending $5.

Fantastic

I wrote the developer about a previous version and a beta of iOS 10, they responded within 24 hours and thanked me for the feedback as promised here is my review now that iOS 10 is released. This version of the app does exactly as described and is as easy as it says, Syncing happens really fast and happens throughout the day, All the fields seem to consistently be getting filled out properly and can't wait for Fitbit to release the full heart rate data so this dev can incorporate that as well. Seeing how well this free app works makes me want to get other apps they develop even though they cost. Very fast at updating issues and replying to feedback even though there's no ads, amazing to see in this day. No need to be kind as the description says when asking for people to review when they've done an amazing job! I've spread the word to all know and have given up my old syncing app for this, Again, thank you so much.

This app is so great

I've been using Sync Fitbit to Apple Health ever since it came in the mail. I love everything about it, displays time, the amount of steps you've walked, distance traveled, number of calories burned, minutes of activity, and future alarms if you have any set. Aside from that, every once in a while, it'll buzz your wrist and remind you to get up and walk around 10 minutes before the new hour in order to reach an hourly stepping goal you've set in the app; default it 250 steps per hour. It's also able to receive phone call, text, and calendar notifications from your smartphone.

I recently bought a fitbit Blaze. It came with a USB cable to charge it with, and I like it so far and everything, but I downloaded the fitbit app/program on my computer and it says my computer requires a fitbit bluetooth dongle to sync/connect with my computer.

What?! I already use my computer to sync with my phone and sync with bluetooth headphones for sound and voice chat using bluetooth! Even after disabling all those things my fitbit still wouldn't sync with my computer without some additional dongle.

Why do I need it?!? Even when connected with the USB charger it doesn't sync!

Manual Sync Blaze With Mac Pro

Can anybody explain why I need an additional fitbit bluetooth dongle to sync with my already-bluetooth-enabled laptop? Surely it doesn't need to stream more data than my headset..
