Most, if not all, all my movies and tv shows have been encoded with Handbrake as mp4s as I used to stream my iTunes library to my Apple TV. So I think I have my files setup just fine.
I plan on streaming to several Roku boxes, some wired, and a few streaming sticks. My PC isn't the greatest, but I feel it's good enough to host this server. I just don't want the PC to be doing any transcoding, I only want it to stream to my clients. Handbrake has done the transcoding and I don't see why my PC should be doing this again.
